Terms and Conditions – Career Guidance Services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Participant”) and Aceh Oil Institute (“the Institute”) governing your access to and use of the Career Guidance Services (“Services”).
The Services are designed to provide career-related support, including but not limited to guidance, training, and professional development assistance.
By registering for, accessing, or participating in the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
The Services are available to the following individuals:
- Current trainees of the Institute;
- Alumni of the Institute; and
- External participants approved by the Institute.
The Institute reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion.
3. Scope of Services
The Institute may, at its discretion, provide the following Services:
- Career consultation and advisory sessions;
- Resume and curriculum vitae (CV) development support;
- Interview preparation and mock interview sessions;
- Individual coaching and mentoring;
- Skills and competency assessments;
- Personal branding and professional positioning guidance; and
- Periodic career progress evaluations.
The Institute reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.
4. Participant Obligations
By participating in the Services, the Participant agrees to:
- Attend scheduled sessions punctually and engage actively;
- Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times;
- Maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary or sensitive information shared during the Services;
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information; and
- Assume full responsibility for their own career decisions and outcomes.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Participants shall not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any materials provided within the Services without prior written consent from the Institute;
- Fail to attend scheduled sessions without reasonable notice;
- Engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; or
- Engage in conduct that may harm the reputation or operations of the Institute.
The Institute reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Participant’s access to the Services for any violation of these Terms, without refund where applicable.
6. Fees and Payment (If Applicable)
Where fees are charged, Participants agree to pay all applicable fees as specified at the time of registration.
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by the Institute.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Institute provides the Services on a best-effort basis and makes no representations or warranties regarding specific outcomes, including employment or career advancement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Institute shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the Participant’s use of the Services.
8. Privacy and Data Use
By participating in the Services, Participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purpose of delivering and improving the Services, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Institute’s privacy policies.
9. Amendments
The Institute reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the official website and shall become effective immediately upon publication.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
