Who can join the Technical Training Programs?
Minimum Degree/Educational Background, candidates with associate or bachelor’s degrees (D3/S1) in relevant fields or other background
Maximum age: 30 years. We will prioritize younger candidates to better align with workforce entry.
The program is open to all genders, promoting diversity and equal opportunity in technical fields.
Applicants must include a doctor’s certificate and a certificate of freedom from color blindness issued by a hospital.
Applicants must provide a Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) from the police station
Other documents such as your last diploma, transcript, KTP, KK and passport photo will be asked for once you have completed the application.

Here is some important information regarding the Technical Training Program at the Aceh Oil Institute:

1. Is this training program paid? If so, is it a full payment system, or can it be paid in instalments?

Yes, this training program is paid according to the amounts stated on the website and in the training brochure. Payments are made in stages following these procedures:

1. The registration fee is paid upon registration.
2. The Stage 1 training fee is paid on the first day of training.
3. The Stage 2 training fee is paid in the first week of the second month of training.
4. The Stage 3 training fee is paid in the first week of the third month of training.
5. The Stage 4 training fee is paid in the first week of the fourth month of training.
6. The Stage 5 training fee is paid in the first week of the fifth month of training.

If payment is not made according to the procedures mentioned above, access to the training will be suspended until payment is successfully completed.

Yes, participants who confirm their withdrawal one week before the training will receive a full refund of the fees paid.

No, participants who withdraw while the training is in progress will not receive a refund.

6. What are the entry requirements?

The registration requirements are as follows:

1. Maximum age: 30 years
2. Minimum education: D3 diploma from any major
3. Complete the registration form
4. Must not be color blind
5. Attach the most recent diploma
6. Attach an SKCK (Certificate of Good Conduct)
7. Attach a copy of your identity card
8. Attach a family card
9. Attach a health certificate from a hospital or health center
10. Attach a statement of willingness to follow and comply with the Training SOP
11. Pay the registration fee
12. Pay the training fee according to the payment procedures”

7. How long is the training program?

AOI offers the following training program durations for all majors:

1. 6-month program: 2 months of classroom instruction followed by 4 months of industrial internship.
2. 1-year program: 4 months of classroom instruction followed by 8 months of industrial internship.

8. Is there a minimum or maximum participant quota?

Yes, there is a minimum quota of 10 people and a maximum quota of 25 people for each training session in every skill majors.

9. Do participants need to be fluent in English? If so, are there support services for participants who are not fluent in English, and are there additional costs for that support?

Yes, participants who are fluent in English gain a significant advantage because communication, understanding of technical documents, participation in training, effective collaboration, reporting and documentation are all conducted in English.

To support those who wish to enhance their language skills, we offer complimentary English training, with flexible schedules tailored by OGTP AOI management.

10. Can colour-blind participants take the training? If not, are there exceptions for certain fields?

We welcome the opportunity for color-blind individuals to participate in the training. It is important to note that in Indonesia, policies regarding employment for color-blind individuals in the oil and gas industry can vary by company and specific job roles.

Generally, many oil and gas companies have stringent safety and operational requirements that often include color vision standards, particularly for positions such as Gas Processing Plant Operators, Control Room Operator, Safety Inspector, Field Technician, Instrumentation Technician, Electrician, Process Engineer and Quality Control Inspector.

In summary, while there may be variations depending on the company policies, many technician or engineer positions in the oil and gas industry typically require good color vision due to the nature of the work.

11. Can vocational high school, high school, DI, or DII graduates apply? If so, is there a possibility of starting a career?

Yes, the training program includes a work experience component as part of the industrial internship. Participants are required to attend from start to finish, and students do not receive any pocket money or compensation during their internship.

The person responsible for organizing work experience is the management of the Oil and Gas Training Program

15. Is there a guidance program to meet competency requirements during the training? If so, are there any additional fees?

Yes, trainees who feel they lack knowledge, insight, or talent can register for special mentoring, as scheduled by OGTP AOI Management without any charge.

16. Do outstanding students receive follow-up services to support their careers?

Absolutely! They will be enrolled in exciting advanced internship programs, receive personalized career guidance, and gain valuable opportunities for promotion in the dynamic oil and gas industry.

17. After completing the training, is there a career guidance program? If so, who is responsible, and are there any additional fees?

Certainly! Those who successfully complete the training are invited to join our complimentary career guidance program, managed by OGTP AOI Management. This initiative is fully supported by the foundation, so it’s crucial for alumni to approach it with commitment to unlock their full potential.

18. Do alumni receive promotions from employers? If so, what categories of alumni receive these services?

Alumni who excel in and complete advanced internship programs will be given priority for job promotions.

19. Does this training provide accommodation? If so, are there any additional fees for that?

Yes! We offer accommodation for training participants conveniently located near the training venue. Be sure to book early, as our rooms are limited and in high demand!
